Welcome to the month of December, the last month in the year 2016. It seems like yesterday that we started this year but, by His grace, we are alive to witness the last month of the year; what a mighty God we serve!
Looking back, your goals and objectives set at the beginning of the year might not have been accomplished – or accomplished partially, don’t beat yourself up! The opportunity has presented itself again, and all you need is to do the review and plan the way forward, because to him that is join with living there is hope – Eccl.9:4a.
A lot can still happen within this remaining one month, so don’t give up, keep pushing and may your month be filled with all the good things from our God. Happy New Month!
If you find yourself in a pit now with a lion, you’ve got to take a decision, a decision that will determine your destiny; i.e. you can run from that which you are afraid of for the rest of your life, or face the fears and take a leap of faith in Him. What is the issue? What are you going to do with it? You have to flee from dreaming to action, “a dream without a plan is just a wish” – Kathrine Paterson.
Many important events have happened this year e.g. the migrant crisis into Europe, Brexit, the U.S. elections etc.; many of which have caused uncertainty and insecurity in the whole word – and there is fear everywhere but Daniel 11:32b says that “but they that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits”.

1. Praise and give thanks to God for the past 11 months – for mercy, forgiveness, security & protection, for God fighting all our battles, for not making us to be a prey to our enemies, etc. Psalm 103:1; Psalm 107:1-5
2. O lord, each of my outstanding blessings being held by the enemy, as this year is coming to end, let your hand be upon me for release and speed to recover. 1Kings 18:46
3. Father, let every satanic harvesters targeting me and my family this month begin to eat their own flesh and drink their own blood in the name of Jesus Isaiah 49:26
4. Father, in this last month of year 2016, let the foundations of the wicked be broken in my life and family and let there be an end to their work in my life Ezekiel 30:4; Ezekiel 11:1-2
5. Father, let your devouring fire and thunder go to my father’s house and my mother’s house and begin to uproot and destroy every foundational forces standing against your plans and blessing for me. Isaiah 30:30-31
6. Father, if there be any that wants to contend with me, my wife and family – please contend with them. Isaiah 49:25; Psalm 35:1-2
7. Father, let every evil conspiracy over me and my family be destroyed by your fire in the name of Jesus. Acts 23:12
8. Father, as year 2016 is coming to an end, I will not weep over my children, I will not weep over my wife, and my family will not weep over me in Jesus name.
9. Father, build a wall of fire around me and my family, protect us from every danger that will go with the year 2017 in the name of Jesus. Zech. 2:5; Psalm 90:1; Prov. 18:10
10. Father let me be strong in you and in the power of your might, to the pulling down of strongholds in the name of Jesus. 1 Cori. 10:3-4
11. Father, in this month of December, please go ahead and guide me and my family day and night in the name of Jesus. Exod. 13:21
12. Father, in this last month of the year 2016, do better unto me than at the beginning in Jesus name. Eccl.7:8
13. Father, I thank you for always hearing me.
